Much like the Macy’s Day Parade, only brighter ??
The streets of Fort Worth will not be lined with people for the 38th annual Parade of Lights.
But don’t worry, you’ll still get to see the miles and miles of Christmas floats with twinkling lights, just in a very different way.
So grab your Christmas jammies and a cup of hot cocoa, because you’ll have to snuggle up on the couch and watch this years parade on your TV.
The parade will be broadcast live on Sunday, November 22nd at 7:00 p.m.
Local network TV stations will be showing the parade but you can also check out a live stream of the event online.
You’ll also have a chance to see over 20 of the floats on Monday the 23rd and Tuesday the 24th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in a pandemic-inspired and socially distanced display down Main Street, where you can take photos and enjoy your favorite Christmas tunes.
The coronavirus pandemic is to blame for the re-imagination of the parade this year, as case numbers continue to increase in North Texas.
