-45°C Temperature are expected in Canada next few weeks….

Winter is coming.

Canada is definitely the most prepared country for freak-of-nature winter weather. We’re used to near-Ice Age temperatures, but that definitely does not mean we enjoy them.

Ontario

Residents in most of southern Ontario will see a white Christmas as a low-pressure system is expected to bring five to 15 centimetres of snow by morning

Toronto

It looks like Toronto will have a white Christmas after all this year.

As the big day quickly approaches, the Weather Network is showing a system moving into Toronto in the coming days, which will result in flurries in the area.

Calgary

All warnings are due to what Environment Canada describes as a low-pressure system forming over BC, which will sweep into the Rocky Mountains with a heavy snowfall of 15 to 30 cm for the high altitude regions.

Quebec

Environment Canada has issued a few different warnings across the province including a storm surge, a high wind warning, and a gigantic winter storm. The Snow is expected to start falling tonight which will create some hazardous winter conditions. A total of 30 to 60 centimetres of snow is expected in many areas.

Montreal

It’s the brutal, unforgiving cold.

You’d probably say Quebec is one of the most prepared provinces when it comes to freak snowstorms and completely skipping fall to dive headfirst into winter. In fact, i’m sure most of us can agree it’s not even the snow that’s the real issue.

Nova Scotia

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Nova Scotia, warning of snow and a winter storm on Christmas Day.“It still remains too early to give an indication of snowfall amounts, but several of the long-range models are now indicating this winter storm will impact much of the province on Christmas Day,” the statement says.

Saskatchewan

The big day will be filled with lots of sunshine and by afternoon temperatures should be able to make it up into the mid -20s, but wind chills will remain in the -30s all day, meaning exposed skin can freeze in minutes, so be sure to bundle up if heading out!

Stay tuned for more…
