Calgary got pelted with hail this weekend, making the start to the province’s summer even more unpleasant than it had already been.
Baseball-sized hail shredded the siding on houses and smashed through car windows.
Flooding on major streets stranded cars and closed down certain areas.
There were also weather-related power outages, and tornadoes were even spotted.
A mix of hail and lightning was recorded around the city.
The dumping of hail left Calgary looking more like it was the middle of January than June.
